With GTA VI on the horizon, fans are already dreaming about all the ways they’ll explore Vice City—from high-speed chases to relaxing coastal drives. The game is still a mystery, with only one official trailer and a handful of leaks that surfaced months ago. But that hasn’t stopped dedicated players from piecing together what could be the GTA VI map and making some big plans for their first in-game adventures.
How Long Will It Take to Drive Around the Entire Map?
Over on Reddit, one fan has been wondering just how long it might take to drive around the entire map, hoping for an unforgettable road trip across Vice City.
“I was thinking about how long it takes to travel around the GTA V map, driving the classic route from Los Santos up to Mount Chiliad and back down past the military base,” they shared.
Using a mix of rough calculations and a bit of GTA-style experimentation, they came up with an estimate:
“According to my very rough numbers, it should take anywhere from 20.5 to 27.3 minutes to drive around the entire GTA VI map.”
That’s one seriously long and exciting drive ahead.
Walking the Entire Map? Some Fans Are Up for the Challenge
While many players are excited about taking their first scenic drive, others have a very different plan—walking every inch of the map.
One Reddit user, Uncle_Andy66, dismissed the idea of driving altogether:
“Won’t be driving, mate. I’ma be walking the whole map, looking at every nook and cranny. So, about 24 hours?”
Now that is dedication. Given Rockstar Games’ reputation for hiding secrets, Easter eggs, and hidden details, it’s safe to say plenty of players will be combing every alleyway, rooftop, and hidden trail to uncover the game’s mysteries.
A Bigger, More Complex Vice City Awaits
Of course, all of this speculation is based on old leaks, and Rockstar may have changed plenty since then. However, one thing is certain—the map is going to be huge.
According to a player analyzing the leaks:
“Apparently, we’re getting a new highway and freeway system, more residential streets, and a lot more alleyways. I bet it’ll take IRL years to fully explore.”
If that’s true, GTA VI could offer one of the most immersive open-world maps ever, packed with hidden locations, shortcuts, and breathtaking scenery.
For now, all we can do is wait—but if these leaks are even remotely accurate, Vice City is going to be a paradise for explorers, speed demons, and mystery hunters alike.
